IMPACT
With IMPACT, we serve as first-responder advocates, addressing the immediate and ongoing needs of students and families in challenging situations.
Our dedicated team works tirelessly to provide personalized support, from connecting families to essential resources to offering guidance during critical moments of transition. IMPACT is rooted in compassion and action, ensuring that no student or family feels alone as they navigate academic, emotional, or logistical challenges. By being present and proactive, we help create pathways toward upward social mobility for Chicago students.
Our IMPACT program has supported over 150 families since its inception, addressing critical needs like housing assistance, school enrollment, and mental health support. As first-responder advocates, the program has managed more than 250 emergency interventions and distributed over $20,000 worth of essential resources, including technology and transportation assistance. Additionally, 95% of referred families have been connected to sustainable long-term services, and over 50 Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) have been successfully advocated for, ensuring equitable educational opportunities.
